Madison, AL singer/songwriter Taylor Burton (vocals, guitar)
and Athens, AL-based brothers Jacob Greene (upright bass) and Brad Greene (lap steel guitar, tenor saxophone) are Americana/Roots trio The Silver Silos.

This self-described “y’allternative” band has been impressing audiences in the Tennessee Valley since July, 2018. The first band to play St. Stephens Music Hall, they have shared the stage with JJ Grey and Mofro (Jacksonville, FL), McKenzie Lockhart (Muscle Shoals), Camacho (Decatur), Carver Commodore (Florence) and international teenage touring act The Burney Sisters. They’ve graced the main stage at Panoply Arts Festival and Microwave Dave Day in Huntsville, where they have also performed at PorchFest Five Points and headlined at Concerts on the Dock at Lowe Mill.

In November 2025, they released their 11 song debut “Alabama Stars” produced by Jeremy Stephens at Clearwave Recording Studio (Alabama Shakes, Jason Isbell, Lamont Landers), with a little help from North Alabama powerhouses James Irvin, Alex Powell, Mike Cole, Lisa Chang, and blues legend Microwave Dave.
